Youth Engaged in Service is a Rotary District 5050 program for high school
juniors. This year, the Skagit County team is composed of 13 girls representing all 5 high schools. The program runs from October to June with a focus on leadership and being of service.
The year culminates in a trip to Honduras. In order to go the students are required to raise $1500 and do 80 hours of local community service. Each student is also sponsored by a Rotary club. La Conner is sponsoring Rosi Rizo from La Conner and Sabrina Hill from Anacortes.
